Our program includes activities designed to stimulate your child’s growth and development. Our teachers work with you to help transition your child from each activity as our teachers will challenge them with age-appropriate activities to help them grow and develop. Footprints’ will provide your child with an environment of caring, nurturing, and learning, further stimulating your preschooler’s natural curiosity and social development. Songs and activities are part of your preschooler’s everyday life. Building a solid self-image and a positive attitude are the beginning steps to a well-rounded growth pattern. We are a faith-based school, so the children will have the opportunity to go to chapel once a week and have a bible lesson, and once a month will be able to meet the Pastor.
Footprints infant program provides activities to develop and stimulate each infant at all stages. We offer a safe, caring, and loving environment for your child away from home. Our quality child development teachers nurture our infants. It is our goal that our infants and parents feel a sense of security and contentment while in our care. Working with you, the parents, we hope to make every phase of your child’s growth an exciting experience.
It is hard to leave your little one! The teachers in our infant and toddler childcare program work hard to help you and your child feel safe and comfortable. Consistent staffing allows your child to get to know and trust the people who care for them. Even at this age, a Christian educational environment is essential to your child and us. This environment is apparent in the staff’s attitude and voices as they work with toddlers on early social skills, games, stories read to the children, and the art and curriculum.
Infants are encouraged to develop feeding skills. Personal daily reports on each infant help you know how your child spent their day: what they ate, how they slept, any questions or concerns the teachers experienced, and any other pertinent information about your child. When a child is ready, they move into the toddler room. Spaces for walking, safe climbing, and age-appropriate toy engagement are provided. Supporting early language development for both groups is of significant focus.
As you might have already noticed, your child is now presenting more and more signs of curiosity and desire for independence every day, not to mention a great sense of personality. We at Footprints are committed to promoting your child’s wants and needs, and as a part of their development comes Potty Training. If your child is showing signs of potty training, such as verbal requests and mannerisms, we will meet with your family and develop a potty-training agreement.
Our Two-year-olds are all about independence and being on the go! They are busy learning skills for group behavior, including sharing, role-playing during dramatic play, and learning to make good choices. Balancing the need for independence with group social skills is a challenge for each child. Our curriculum is theme-based, with science, art, music, dramatic play and language development focused around these themes. Christian education elements are an essential part of the songs, art, and storytime.
Our Three-year-old program focuses on continuing to provide an age-appropriate curriculum to ensure a positive learning environment. We provide an environment that promotes self-esteem, fine and gross motor skills, and social skills. We encourage the children to communicate with each other by providing them the skills to problem-solve. Throughout the day, they are given the opportunity to play with each other, which will help build their social skills. The children will be using scissors, learning how to write and hold a pencil, tracing, and learning to be more independent. They will also learn how to use their words and ask questions, ask for help, tell a story, and communicate with their friends.
Our Four-year-olds are getting ready for entry into Kindergarten

Footprints’ provides your child with an environment of caring, nurturing, and learning to stimulate further your Pre– Kindergartener’s natural curiosity and social development. Songs and activities are part of your Pre– Kindergartener’s everyday life. Building a solid self-image and a positive attitude are the beginning steps to a well-rounded growth pattern.
Our focus continues to be an age-appropriate Christian education curriculum with opportunities for exposure to early literacy skills, including:
Print literacy (knowing left-right orientation and the front and back of a book); matching of a picture to story text, prediction, and alternate endings; letter and sound identification; recognition of their name in print; writing their name, counting and number concepts of quantity, sequential order, serial order; one-on-one correspondence; interest in prewriting and graphics; and the use of art as the process and not the product.
Our Kindergarten program is a full-day program. Classes will start at 8:45 and end at 3:00. Our program is faith-based as well as academic, our curriculum will cover all aspects of learning, including math, reading, social studies, science, art, and language arts. We have a low teacher-to-student ratio which means your child will have more dedicated attention. Small class size means a big opportunity for dedicated attention with a focus on essential skills, such as:
Our After School program offers a safe and nurturing environment. The children will be able to spend after-school, school breaks, and summertime breaks here at the center. Children who are in school all day will have a place to come to do homework, socialize with friends, and have time to go outside and just play. They will continue to work on peer socialization and will be encouraged to model Christian-like behaviors. The children will go to the Chapel once a week for bible lessons and will be able to talk with the pastor once a month. Footprints will provide transportation from designated local elementary schools to our facility.
